Bi-rite Market - San Francisc

Have been coming here for years but today my sandwich had A HAIR IN IT and so did my partner?s! I called to speak with a manager, he says ?staff does wear hairnets? just disgusting and not cool at all. I?ll report this to the health inspectors and STAY AWAY FROM BI RITE, I suggest you do the same.

I love BiRite. I only wish they didn't rob you blind with their prices : Everything is soooo expensive, it boggles my mind. But it's cute, convenient, and has yummy goodness!

Do yourself a favor?get yourself a veggie sandwich, a cookie, and a bougie seltzer and sit in Dolores Park. This market is beautiful and the food quality is top-notch. Easy to order online with quick pickup times. So good! Love it.

Beautiful displays, clean and well-organized, this lovely market has a wide selection of salads, dishes, meats, locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, wines, breads and more. Terrific for take out when you want to spend an hour's lunch break in Mission Dolores Park, which is within easy walking distance.

While the produce is high quality, the plant based selection is very low and, flesh/meat in full view (and smell) making it a very uncomfortable place for people of diverse cultures to visit. In turn, as you?ll see, the crowd is quite homogeneous.
