We stopped by this restaurant after our Alcatraz tour, and wow, their shrimp po' boy was one of the best we've ever had outside of New Orleans! The service was quick, and the restaurant had a clean, open-air atmosphere. The restroom was also nice. It was a delightful surprise!
The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, yet full of energy. The chicken and vegetables were delicious and took about half an hour to prepare, but it was definitely worth the wait. I enjoyed hearing the guys playing an enthusiastic game of dominos. I opted for takeout and plated it beautifully at home.
On Friday it's the Chicken vegetable soup, apple crown hot tottie, and karaoke for me. I eat well, chill, and always have a good time.Food: 5/5
Shrimp and grits or garlic noodles are my go to. TC DJs there on the regular along with some other local folks. Black owned business. Go support!
