Friends rented out their patio space and it was such a wonderful event. The food and drinks were delicious. I had the mac and pulled pork and it was best I've ever had. I will definitely be back to try some more of the menu.

This was my first time visiting Gentilly. I was drawn to it by the name. It reminded me of home (Louisiana).The place was small, so if you have a large party I suggest going when they first open. We had a large party of 8. Everyone liked their food. I ordered fried catfish. It was too soft and I wasn't even sure if it was actually catfish. It was a different texture than any catfish I ever had. The Cajun Fries are a little salty and spicy, so you may want to request for them to go easy on the seasoning.The kids loved the food, the vegetarian in my group loved her food as well. I didn't try the green beans, but was told by those in my party that it was really good.Waitress was very pleasant.By the time we left, the bar was full. This is definitely place that the locals love and tourists like me should stop in.

Great Cajun food (very tasty), casual, good bar, and a New Orleans atmosphere. Funky but great, in a not so great neighborhood, South Mission St.
