Jcb Tasting Lounge - San Francisc

A wine tasting where they give you zero info on the notes of the wine! Smallest pours and all the wines were too young to judge. Save your money and go to somewhere with less of a sense of over importance. The tasting room was an overdone vomit of velvet and flash.

We 've been Collector members for 5 years and made an appt for a tasting while we were in town. Everything was great at the start until the server ditched us...twice. First for her friends bc one is a bartender at Giants stadium and she wanted to show them the crystalled bottles. The 2nd time was for a walk in couple, where she kept talking to them about everything under the sun but wine...snakes, French bulldogs, etc. She left us for over 20 minutes with empty glasses, no one else in the tasting room.We were going to buy wine to ship, we didn 't. We were going to keep our membership, we won 't.I hope at least her pitch to sign up the couple that used to have a reptile shop signs up or she scores that free drink at the Giants game this afternoon.There are too many wineries/wine clubs that actually value their members.

DO NOT GO. The pours here are embarrassingly small. Like you literally get 1.5 sips. Just go to one of the hotel restaurants and save the money. Better wine, service, and cost at the hotel vs JCB.

Great experience with amazing staff! Always warm and inviting. JCB wine is outstanding and very different because of the blend of both French and American wines!

Ladies Galatine weekend getaway with 11 of our childhood friends for the 6 wine servings tasters . JCB , John Charles Boisette is located inside The Ritz Carlton Hotel lobby , it's a small tasting room , elegant and intimate, with baccarat wine glasses , candle lights fixtures and beautiful ornate chandelier . Pretty much anything inside JCB can be purchased , I think . Diva our Sommelier were engaging and educational , while pouring our wine she proceeded to inform us of the history of JCB, their wineries and flavors of each wine. We asked if Diva can order some appetizers , fruits and cheese charcuterie boards for us from the Lounge restaurant across the Lobby . She was kind to walk over , came back with the charcuterie boards while we enjoyed our wine and company . We had a great time and enjoyed the wine selections Diva choose for us , for those ladies that likes more of a sweeter wine , Diva accommodated them individually. Unfortunately we were not able to charge our bill to our rooms. Diva mentioned they are working on it in the near future.
