B. Patisserie - San Francisco

The chocolate banana almond croissant was incredibly tasty, and the black sesame coffee was unique and delicious. The staff member who assisted us was delightful. I highly recommend this place. Don't worry about the line, it usually moves fast in my experience.

Waited in line here (there is a line even on weekdays all the way up until closing time) and ordered a chocolate banana croissant and a chocolate kouign-amann (their specialty). The chocolate banana croissant was definitely unique but it wasn’t exactly flaky — just very dense. Still delicious though! I’ve had better pastries in San Francisco.

I believe this place has the best bread in San Francisco, and it's also more affordable than similar options like Vive la tarte, Thorough Bread, and Jane. Due to its popularity, items tend to sell out early in the afternoon, so it's best to go early. The pastries, like the croissants, are also delicious. The service is quick, well-organized, and clean. While there isn't dedicated parking, there are some street parking options nearby. The staff is plentiful, polite, and efficient. I've also tried their cakes, which are equally excellent. My only suggestion is that I wish they were open more frequently, had more locations in SF, stocked more items, and maybe offered a chocolate croissant on the menu.

A solid 4.5. The butteriest pastries there ever were they literally ooze butter as you tear parts off. The chocolate banana croissant was banana bread on steroids: all the fragrance of butter, chocolate and banana, but with superior texture. I also loved that the chocolate wasn't too sweet.

This cake was very rich and creamy. The cake was the perfect balance of sweetness to go with the dark chocolate. The mini macaroon shell was also cool, but it wasn't very crunchy like a normal shell. Other than that, a great dessert place
