Great portions but thought the chicken lacked some flavor. the sides dishes were amazing though and the corn bread was top tier! not rushing to come back anytime soon but might come back if craving some southern food. fried chicken: a little bland but pretty crispy and good portions mac and cheese: loved the side dish, so cheesy and creamy collard greens: standard collard greens and enjoyed this side too

Very solid SoCo cuisine. Fried chicken waffles are legit. Worth returning to, and a very nice sunny space with a warm, open layout. Great for brunch.

I really do love coming here for a delicious meal. Everything on their menu taste freaking amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Great place to enjoy a good meal with some close friends.

Fell for the name as we passed this place- looking for a breakfast spot on a Saturday or Sunday morning. It was just okay. Service was super friendly but reeeeeally slow. Wish I could say that the food justified the time it took, but I'd be lying. Good strong coffee. That's about it.

Great first experience at Buttermilk yesterday. The staff was very friendly from the moment I walked in the door. Our server Gabriel was great as well. Several mimosas flavors to choose from. I selected a watermelon mimosa and it was fantastic. Chicken and Waffles the best I have had. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and crisp skin. I received a breast, thigh and drumstick. I guess the chef debones as much as he can, because the only bone left when I was finished was from the drumstick. Waffle was fluffy and warm. I'll definitely be coming back!
