Gialina - San Francisco

Tiny little artisan pizza place in San Francisco. Gluten free crusts if that is your thing. The 4 cheese pizza was good until it cooled down into a cheese cracker. They also forgot to put the hot honey on the pepperoni pizza. We had to ask for it. Next time I should try the pepperoni with hot honey on a real crust.

The Atomica pizza (topped with an egg) is hands down my favorite pizza in the city. I've been to this restaurant a dozen times and always order the same dish, which never fails to impress. Every friend we've brought along has had the same fantastic reaction, yet no one had heard of it before. It's truly a hidden gem.

The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. While their gluten-free and vegan options are limited, they have made some great suggestions that I've really enjoyed.

As for the pies, I sampled the mushroom, Ms. Figgy (which I requested without meat), Atomica, and the 4 Cheese. I found Ms. Figgy to be unique with its sweet flavor and the addition of figs on the pizza, and I actually liked it quite a bit. The mushroom pie was my next favorite. For dessert, I highly recommend the tiramisu.
