Lots of large loud TV’s playing sports and lots of large loud people watching them. If the weather is nice and you eat outside you're certainly in for a treat.
Many people love visiting breweries for both the drinks and the food. Of course, it is expected that the beer should be great, but the food isn’t always top notch. You can say that about some breweries, but Gordon Biersch is definitely a place I would come back to given it’s wonderful foods and tasty beers. The upstairs area is excellent for large parties, but make sure you reserve ahead. Downstairs is the bar where it gets quite crowded, especially after a Giants game. It’s certainly a fun environment to enjoy a game on the HDTV sets they have there over a beer. Parking is not an issue despite its proximity to AT&T Park. It’s still a few blocks away that it’s not realistic to walk all the way to the ball park.
Great place to grab a beer and relax with some oily fried food or pizza. all the items i’ve tried so far have been surprisingly good, even the salads!
No exaggeration. This place has the best burgers I have ever tasted. The meat must be some mixture of sirloin, because it is the perfect ground steak burger. Bar None. Better than Val’s in Castro Valley. Certainly better than In-N-Out. Most people come here for the beer since it’s a Brewery, but a trip to the city is worth it for the burgers and their garlic fries.
