Mangosteen - San Francisco

I absolutely loved this restaurant! It's one of the best Vietnamese spots I've ever visited. While the interior and atmosphere might be a bit more casual for some, I really enjoyed it. And the food was simply exquisite!

The seating area is quite pleasant. I personally enjoy the bun rieu and bun Bo hue they offer—both are incredibly delicious, and they even use the right toppings, like banana leaves! The service is decent, but you may need to be a bit assertive to get a waitress's attention whenever you need something. The garlic noodles are also really tasty!

There are plenty of Vietnamese options in this small area of San Francisco, but Mangosteen stands out with its superior quality and presentation. It’s great that their prices remain very reasonable. The portion sizes are generous, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly.

One of the best, authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the area. Their crab noodles bring me back to Vietnam. Also their Lemongrass Pork Garlic Noodles are the bomb, stop by if your in the Civil Center area!

I cannot say enough about this gem! I was introduced to this spot by some co-workers and I am addicted! The Bun Bo Hue Mu Hat is not to be missed! I also recently had the Banh Xeo (Vietnamese crepe) and it was very delicious. To top it off it's also affordably priced!
