Ono Hawaiian Bbq - San Francisco

I tried the chicken combo and the spicy chicken at this restaurant. The spicy chicken was definitely the standout dish. The teriyaki and other sauces were delicious as well. My favorite part of the meal was the macaroni salad. Yesica provided excellent assistance in helping us, clueless Minnesotans, decide what to order. Overall, the fast food here is decent and a nice change from the typical burger or sandwich options.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, always served hot, and the employees appear to be happy. They provide excellent customer service. The establishment could benefit from a bit of a renovation and a thorough cleaning, but since I usually get takeout, it doesn't bother me much. In terms of kid-friendliness, there is open seating available and plenty of room for strollers.

On November 7, 2022 at 2:33pm, our server Yesica served my family and me uncooked chicken and a BBQ mix. Our order was prepared in just one minute, which seems unreasonable to me. I am extremely disappointed with the food quality and customer service. I urge management to investigate this issue. I do not recommend dining here unless you enjoy half-cooked meals.

I used to like this place but I had a really bad experience here last week. I ordered the bbq chicken and beef combo and the cashier kept rolling her eyes at me. I dined in and while I was eating I heard extremely loud banging and it was so unprofessional. I think part of my food tasted off and I got an upset stomach later on. I emailed and never got a response. I called to talk to the manager and she said she was sorry but did not seem truly apologetic. Very disappointed.

My family loves going here when we need to get food quickly! I highly recommend their chicken katsu because the chicken is super tender and juicy! Both myself and my kid love this item! The order is a good sized portion and so I usually share the plate with my kid. Under the chicken is steamed cabbage and broccoli and the it also comes with steamed white rice and Mac salad. They're Mac salad is pretty decent too. Oh and don't forget their sauces! I love their dipping sauce for the katsu and the teriyaki sauce for the steamed veggies! Their crab rangoon is tasty and if you've had it before it's exactly what you expect it to taste like. Their spam musubi is super expensive for what it is and if you know how to make it do that instead of buying it. They don't put a lot of rice in it and the price has just gone up so much! If you do not know how to look it up! It's worth it! The other meats that they offer are decent but nothing really stands out and if you want kalbi be prepared to pay more for not that much more meat. Tip: either place your order online or call in your order for faster service!!!!
