Pacific Cafe - San Francisco

I’ve lived in the city since 1975. This is definitely by far my favorite seafood restaurant. The food is real never frozen. For San Franciscans this is a landmark.

Have been coming here for decades. Neighborhood staple! Halibut parmesan is unique and always tasty. I had garlic butter snapper today and it was fresh and also well made and tasty. And you can't beat free wine while you wait!Dietary restrictions: Halibut parmesan can be made with rice flour!

Just OK. We have gone to many SF restaurants over the years and just OK. We have no plans to return

What restaurant offers complimentary wine while you wait for a table? The Pacific Cafe, which serves some of the finest seafood in San Francisco. It's a small and unpretentious place, a straightforward eatery that excels at clam chowder and sourdough bread. My parmesan-crusted halibut was absolutely delightful.

The food here is truly outstanding, and the service is among the best I've experienced. They offer an excellent menu, and the prices are very reasonable as well.
