Rangoon Ruby Burmese Cuisine Sf

Party of 3- couple plus one guest. We were able to share all items. Generous wine list available. We had the shrimp with walnuts, sesame chicken, mango salad, and Chicken Kabat. The chicken kabat had an asterisk and was more spicy than our group preferred- so go for the asterisk items only if you really like hot items. Service was prompt and helpful; even with a good turnout the noise level was quite good. Not cheap- but good value and beautiful dishes served with style.

The place is nice and the staff is very good, but the food we had was just ok

I was surprised how good it was for simple food. Had a decent glass of wine too. Wished we would have tried it sooner

Food was ok, less exciting than somewhere rustic than burma super star. The over-the-top lighting and decor suggested an experience that never materialized. It was like a street food experience in a fine dining establishment, and it really didn't fit. The staff were over-attentive, asking how each course was before we even took a bite.

Service was attentive without hovering. Tea leaf salad was nicely presented and flavorful.
