I had an incredible experience that surpassed all other one-star Michelin restaurants I've visited. Be sure to order the short rib as an add-on – it’s fantastic! Every course was outstanding. Thank you to the Ssal team for making our celebration so special!

You can often gauge the quality of a restaurant by its basics, and Ssal excels in that regard. The rice, the kimchi, the sundubu (soft tofu), and even the burdock tea were all perfect on their own and complemented the more intricate dishes beautifully. And let's not forget the service! The staff is professional yet personable, working seamlessly as a team. They truly enhanced our experience, which is sometimes lacking in Michelin-rated restaurants that can feel overly formal. A big thank you to the Ssal team—you all are fantastic! We can’t wait for our next special occasion to return!

I had an incredible dining experience! This restaurant truly elevated Korean-French fusion while maintaining the authenticity and creativity of Korean cuisine. It was astonishing how well Korean flavors harmonized with French gastronomy, allowing each ingredient to shine without overpowering the others. I was nearly moved to tears with every bite because it was just that good!

1 michelin stars have a huge range. With some, you question the accolade… others are solid 1 michelin stars with solid cooking but fall short in some axes.Ssal is nearly perfect in all dimensions. I’m actually a little shocked that this is a 1 michelin star as it’s stronger than most 2 michelin stars I’ve been to.The food is mind blowing, the plates and silverware are beautiful, the atmosphere is sleek yet cozy, the dishes are timed to perfection, and the staff are personal and anticipate your needs. I love the korean twist to the dishes and the unique collaborations (e.g. Arsicault Croissants! .A bit pricey, but this is a very impressive restaurant. You can be confident that you’ll have a stellar experience.

Breathtaking! I travel for work often and try different Michelin Star restaurants. This one is my favorite this far! small and intimate staff was so friendly and since they saw I was dining alone made conversation with me. Chef is so skilled, authentic ingredients imported within the week from Korea, the pictures speak for themselves!
