The Crew - San Francisco

We returned several times. The food is delicious and at a very reasonable price AND it is open late!

On a cool day, I was craving Tofu soup so we decided to try out the crew. My child wanted his Rams, so he ordered the combo that came with Gyoza. He enjoyed everything, but noticed it tasted similar to the Shin Black Ramen package. If that's the case, it may not be worth the $14.95. We also took home the Kimchi Jigae which was more than enough for 3 people with lots to spare. It was probably my favorite dish - very flavorful with a kick. The Kalbi was a safe choice and you can never go wrong with it. The Kimchi Cheese Pancake was a hit at every table and it's easy to see why. They were large, crispy, and delicious - some of the best I've had. Lastly, we couldn't pass on the Chicken Hubs - we couldn't decide on a flavor, so we got half sweet and spicy and half sweet garlic. Both were crispy and tasty, but I think I preferred the sweet garlic. Overall, everything we ordered was good. The prices may be on the higher side, but the portions were decent. We will definitely be returning for more Korean food next time.

Tofu soup with vegetables! Great taste, textures and good bang for your Buck. This is always a reliable place for Korean foods with vegetarian options!

We used to love this restaurant before the pandemic, it was one of our favorite spots. However, our recent visit left us very disappointed. We ordered the pork belly, fried chicken wings, and tteokbokki. The pork belly was tough, flavorless, and not made with black pig as advertised. The chicken wings were also lacking in taste and the portion size was small (6 pieces for $15). The tteokbokki was decent. The highlight of the meal was the Lychee soju. Overall, we were not impressed and won't be returning. The $78 meal was not worth it considering the disappointing food quality.

The pork stew at this restaurant was incredibly delicious and the food was served promptly. Overall, the food was very tasty, but one star was deducted because the decor and atmosphere felt old-fashioned and dull. Still, a solid choice!
