Umami Burger Soma - San Francisco

For the money the amount of food is small. We waited minutes for a burger. They served us our fries minutes before the burgers. The wait was ridiculous when the restaurant wasn’t even a quarter full. Much better burger places in the city that are cheaper and better quality!!

Great burgers, but relatively limited menu and if someone didn't like truffle oil and I don't there was no regular ketchup option BarBQ sauce was good but not a great option for the fries! Service was outstanding! Open air environment was ok but a bit cool. Close to ATT Park was main driver for choosing and that worked great

Was alright, both food and service, but overpriced for what is basically a fast food burger chain. Also plant based vegetarian options not marked at all

Lots of hype and not much umami in each bite. Nice staff, though

Family stopped in for a quick burger after show had to ask the GrubHub driver to move from our table so we could sit down the place was so swarmed with delivery people with food all over the floor that the people in the restaurant were definitely second priority over the ones who placed online orders once we got our food which took forever I had to send mine back as it was not cooked the server was really nice but so busy he couldn’t get to us
