Yuet Lee Seafood - San Francisco

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options. It had been a long time since I had visited this place before Covid, and I found out that they had changed ownership. However, it still remains one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to.

The Chinese food I tried at this restaurant was quite mediocre compared to other places I have visited in the past year. Despite hearing positive reviews about this renowned establishment, I was disappointed by the lackluster quality of the food. The noodle soup with duck was particularly disappointing, as it lacked flavor and substance. The broth seemed to be merely water with noodles and a few pieces of bok choy, and the duck meat was scarce and mostly consisted of bony pieces. My husband's seafood chow mein was decent, which is why I am giving this restaurant three stars instead of one. The ambiance of the restaurant did not impress me either - it felt like an old, noisy eatery attempting to attract customers with pictures of past celebrity visitors.

The food at this restaurant was incredible. Although it wasn't our original choice, we were pleasantly surprised when our first option was closed. It was a refreshing change of pace to try something new. We ordered the pork fried rice, mongolian beef, and shrimp noodle dish for my niece, and we were not disappointed. The restaurant serves family-style plates and accepts cash only. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a delicious meal.

After arriving in SFO, I had a craving for soup and noodles because of the cold weather. One of the few restaurants open in Chinatown was Yuet Lee Seafood Restaurant, and I was delighted that it was open!

I stumbled across this tiny restaurant in China Town. I was looking for authentic Chinese food anyway, but I was starving headed into the first shop I saw. I didn't realize that it is pretty famous until I ordered. Travel channel, Anthony Bourdain, Jackie Chan, many more have been here. It was really good. I even ordered duck to take home to my family, states away. I wish I would've gotten the pics of the duck, but only got pics of the curry. It was definitely delicious. I'd go back
