Zazang Korean Noodle - San Francisco

I wish this place was a little more consistent. I've been coming here since 2013 and my opinion about them always goes up and down. This time, I ordered their jjamppong and tangsuyuk. When I first got in, I wasn't even given a menu but that was okay since they have a picture on the wall and I knew what I wanted before going in. As soon as I got both dishes, I knew the quantity of the noodles and the meat were significantly low. Did I come on a bad day? But even then I feel like the quantity of the food should not sway significantly. I'm not a huge eater like these Mukbang creators but I was able to finish jjamppong and tangsuyuk without feeling overly stuffed.

Cozy neighborhood Korean spot on Geary. was really craving jajjangmyeon and this hit the spot! the noodles were fresh bouncy, and the jajjangmyeon had solid flavor without being too heavy. the regular jajjangmyeon is only $12 and easily lasts 2 meals, so I thought it was a great deal, too!

I ordered via their website for take out. It's a small place on Geary and upon walking inside, it gives off a total mom and pop vibe. It's cozy and a little small (at least from what I saw). I ordered jajangmyeon (which is so cheap here omg) and I drove about 20 minutes away to eat it. It's definitely a little bit harder to eat as a take out but just drench the sauce in it to loosen the noodles and it's pretty easy to eat. It was absolutely delicious! The noodle were perfectly chewy and the sauce was great not too sour or sweet, not even salty! I look forward coming here again and eating in person!

Small restaurant with limited seating. Came here for the jjajangmyeon with the hand crafted noodles. Wasn't disappointed... Definitely will come back again. The only slight downer is no bonchon with take-out order.Food: 5/5
