We stambled on this place when looking for a fair-priced dinner. Maury greeted us in a very charming and friendly manner. The food is decent. I would come back for the attention they provid to the customers.

This place provide more than decent food for much cheaper than some other places in this street. Maury was very welcoming and friendly. If you want a casual dinner or a drink in the neighborhood I definitely recommand this place.

Everywhere closed for Xmas eve. We bump into this little place and.. pronto! A decent selecion of local craft beers, freshly cut guacamole (you'll see the diff), lovely fush tacos and.. top mescal cocktails. Do yrself a favour and try the tamarind mescal sorbet. Phenomenal.

We traveled to Campeche from the U.S. for the first time in August 2018 planning my daughter's wedding and our first night out in town on Calle 59 we stopped into Canek and met Maury the owner!! What a welcome we received, every plate made to order, fresh and delicious!! And the drinks were so good we came back each night to see Maury and try more of the local drinks we can't want to come back in February 2019 we'll see you very soon Maury and you'll be our first stop once again upon landing in Campeche!! We tried a lot of places in Campeche and canek is the best we went to. The drinks are great and the price too thanks to all the offers. The staff is amazing, they are all really Frendly and interesting, they take the Time to make a real exchange , special tanks to Dario Madrigal, truly amazing personé and waiter.
