If I could only give more than 5 stars! Really delicious good home cooked food! I had fried fish n it was divine! The view over the lake and the volcano Lovely Lady and wonderful food and really good price!

Fresh, delicious and inexpensive typical Guatemalan dishes. No menu. Just ask what is available. Lunches include Refresco. On sunny days, the rooftop dining area is too hot to enjoy during lunchtime. Immediate and friendly service. Very recommended.

Very tasty home cooked food from señora juanita! we went around 1 o'clock to lunch and luckily the outside seats in the 3rd floor were available. juanita is warm and so welcoming. you were eating was one of the best meals we had in guatemala. we sat next to a small wood burning stove and a hammock, with a view of the beautiful lake. we went back to dinner the same day, but unfortunately they were closed. highly recommended!

Wonderful view upstairs, great authentic food and a Guatemalan treasure, Juanita. This is real Guatemala. If no one is around, just say hello in the window and she will open just for you. There are few tables next to the kitchen but the overlook table is upstairs. Charisma and enthusiasm!

As others have noted Juanita is a good cook, you have a meat, fish or Veggie option for dinner and a couple of drink options. The cafe at street level has a simple decor but the real experience is up on the roof top. It was just her, so we was left to view the sunset while she cooked our fish dinner. Visit knowing you are a guest in her house not a restaurant (part of the top floor still a work in progress) and enjoy the food, no doubt she will be very busy in the coming months. Wish we could return.
