Viva Tacos La Estrella - San Gabriel

Let me start this out by saying the following I was whining like a baby to my significant other about not wanting to eat here because I hadn't had tacos from here before and didn't want s tacos/Mexican food. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised. The S/O got 4 tacos de asada and I got the asada quesadilla. The meat is seasoned wonderfully and is lemony/limey enough for my liking (I need that citrus in my meat lol). They are generous with the meat, and it's not too chewy and honestly just delicious. Knocked 1 star because there was some chewy gristle parts (I only had like 2 pieces in my quesadilla) so not a deal breaker. We were on the go so pardon the to go/in the car photos. Fish tacos slapped. We had a table out in the sun and the nice cashier came outside and told us she'd clean a table in the shade so we could move. Cute spot by Lincoln Park

I freaking love this place hands down number one taco food spot ever. Been going here since i was a kid they always hook it up with extra salsa free of charge the food flavor on point asf!!!!

Used to be good....asada burrito was full Of fat and rice only, only give 1 half full salsa.. bag was not properly packaged and closed for safety..got it w and did not even feel safe eating it and after 1 bite I just threw it away..stay away from this place

This place is disgusting and nasty. I found a piece of hair on my fish tacos. I do not recommend this place.
