Bill's Cafe - San Jose

That's the salt my breakfast needed, it was very bland, the worst fries! But the waffle was not bad :

Definitely not impressed by the food and service at Bill's. I've eaten here a few times and each time the food didn't come out hot. I had to stop my server each time to ask for refills of my beverage. My server only came to my table to ask for the orderand payment. There is better food out there for the same cost. The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant is clean. Finding aparking spot is difficult in the neighborhood.

I was visiting the San Jose area, my son-inlaw recommend and I was surprised the best fluffy pancakes, I ordered strawberry pancakes, ???? the way they made was by placing the fruit in the pancake batter, so so delicious. We had good service verywelcoming sorry forgot her name, my son-in-law requested extra extra crispy hash brown potatoes she highly recommended deepfried hash brown, when breakfast was brought to our table we were all amazed by the deep fried hash brown potatoes, so so goodvery crispy crunchy they were perfect. This Bill's Cafe (great name for a place by the way) is located very close to my work. It's easy to get to there's plenty of free garage parking. Even though it's on a major street, King Road, there's a feeling of calm relaxation to it.

We got the cinnamon roll french toast and the bills original skillet with the Hawaiian pancake instead of the toast. First thing is that this place gives you what you pay for, it is pricey but they serve good food and large quantities. The skillet wasgreat, it had everything you would want on a skillet, it was savory with good flavor and not too much spice. The pancake pairedprefect with the savory skillet, and none of the pancakes flavors were overpowering, might expect for something with banana tobe a little too banana. The only downside to the meal was the cinnamon roll, it was dry and reminded me of cinnamon rolls thatare brought into the office from time to time.
