Water glasses were filled just at the right times, everyone was super helpful, and they read the notes section of my reservation and brought my friend a complimentary birthday dessert. Pros on food enjoyed the pretzel with beer cheese and bacon, the salmon dish was my favorite. I enjoyed everything about the dish. Salmon was cooked well, asparagus added a nice texture, and the parsnip purée was nice and creamy. The flavor of the purée was also somewhat addicting! Cons on food the beet salad was good, but lacked texture, everything in the salad was soft. The schnitzel was fine, but not the best I've had. Hummel Haus in S. Lake Tahoe has a really tasty one that I sometimes crave, along with several other dishes they serve as well. And while I enjoyed parts of my meal a lot, I didn't see myself craving anything from Naschmarkt the way I do when I compare them to Hummel Haus. Well, maybe the parsnip purée, that was really good! Overall, it was a nice dinner and as noted, their service was excellent. The atmosphere was nice too, for a celebration.
This is a place I've been wanting to check out. When our son said he was taking me here for my birthday I was very excited. Based on the reviews, I expected it to be good, but we'll say they exceeded my expectations with the quality and flavors of the food and cocktails. It was a wonderful evening from the greeting at the door, table service, ambience, and tasty meal. I ordered the Hungarian goulash and it was all around perfection. The meat was tender, the flavors were elevated, and the portion was generous. it went very well with my smoked cocktail.
Other than the seats being too tiny, the foods and the services were brilliant. Such a great find. Would come back again for more specials ! The drinks also, are super good and strong. It's around mid price range, but they sure stuff you !
The reviews are correct correct this place is a great lil restaurant. The service is top notch, the cute restaurant is centered snack in downtown canpbell, and the European food is all excellent. Our server Dante was so wonderfull. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was so enjoyable. I forgot yo take a picture but you must have the vanilla souffle its divine. Also a side note, I saw a negative about restautant not havingvany vegitarian option...NOT TRUE ..my daughter in law is a vegetarian and we ordered tagliatelle pasta w no seafood for her ..she loved It.
We were super impressed from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by both a server and the host, and seated right away. Had heard for a while now that this place was amazing, So we finally decided to see for ourselves. It's hard to believe they've been open for 13 years and we had never visited until now. We looked over the menu and decided on our orders, but after hearing the specials, we couldn't resist trying them. We started with bangers and sauerkraut and a stone fruit salad. For the main course, I opted for the beef stroganoff while my wife chose the pork schnitzel. Every dish was fantastic! And of course, we couldn't finish on such a high note without dessert. The dessert menu was too tempting to pass up and since our boys weren't with us, it was hard to just choose 1. So we ordered the apple strudel and soufflé. I'm so glad we did because they were absolutely delicious! It's been a long time since we've been to a restaurant where every dish was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Thanks to the entire team for a wonderful dining experience especially our server Jonathan!
