Really incredible food! I wanted to visit this place for a while and I'm so happy that I finally made it! While it's rudimentary appearance can throw away a casual person, I can bet that her food is just really delicious. No wonder why they are so popular. To supplement, add them really beautiful chai (tea), which seemed with cinnamon and Jaggery, which was free and unlimited. We had the roasted goat cut and the grilled Tilapia, which were only so tasteful and juicy. Finally, but above all, I felt that they are a woman-run restaurant that definitely deserves a special note and award. And so more reasons to support them.
First time trying Somali food. We ordered the sports plate with lamb and beef with both rice and spaghetti. Tasted pretty good, if you add the sauce it becomes pretty spicy. Felt like the portion size was good and we had leftovers too.
We were in the area for an errand and followed Google reviews to this place and it did not disappoint! We got the goat cutlet plate and the fish wrap (forgot to take photos of the goat plate before we dug in oops and both were packed with flavor. the chapattie wrap and the fish were both flaky and delicious and the goat was tender and not gamey (the basmati rice was also delicious . The portions were also super generous (I was surprised by how big the fish wrap was given the price and we had plenty of leftovers that would be good for another meal, but even if you have a big appetite this place will certainly leave you feeling full and satisfied : would definitely come by if we're in the area again, I'd want to try the injera next time :
