I love how they are allergy conscious and health-minded now. My biggest complaint is the seating situation, most notably the highchairs. They are always so gross and sticky! Please scrub those things daily, Kid's Cafe! I always opt to battle my little one on my lap because there is no way I will get my kid that dirty from other peoples' kids' meal mess. Lunch is not going to be really cheap. About $10 per person, at least. Then again, it isn't so much that I won't pay it for the convenience. I appreciate the improved cafe and will continue to eat here with my kids.
Chicken tenders for kids was so dry but they were nice to exchange the pasta dish for us. My chicken and avocado sandwich had 2 slices of avocado when another customer had one whole avocado in it. I had to ask 2 times to finally get some avocado. Ridiculous. Overall, food was not good. :
Cafeteria food. Healthy type options as far as whole wheat and stuff like that, but not crazy organic, starve the world, like SF museum. Prices are not bad for museums either, especially relative to outside food in this area. Finding a space to sit must be a case study in social engineering though. Eat early or late to find group seating
