I ordered lunch from this restaurant and had the Thai basil chicken with rice. They provided a clear soup on the side, which was okay. However, overall, I found the flavors to be lacking; there were barely any vegetables, just some beans. The dish had very little sauce considering the amount of rice served, and it ended up tasting quite bland.
I waited 25 minutes for my order, even with just one person ahead of me. While I could have tolerated the long wait, the large woman behind the counter clearly lacked customer service skills. She refused to customize my order or accommodate my request for extra chili. Her attitude was the main reason for my dissatisfaction. I will definitely not be coming back.
I'm going against the grain because I was very disappointed in this place. The great reviews to see and fried chicken livers on their menu brought me for lunch. We were the only customers in. Waiting for food was on the long side, but if it was cooked to order, I can fully respect the patience required for a freshly prepared meal. On arrival it became clear why it took so long: my fried chicken quarter and the liver were overboiled to the point of toughness, which is hard to do with dark meat. The crispy skin was beautiful after I had picked out numerous intimable feathers. Their special blue sticky rice was dry and tasteless. The included chili sauce (no other option) was too sweet? Fortunately, there was sriracha available on the counter. My GF was satisfied with her fried Gai KMG (kao mun gai) despite the $3 charge to add a fried egg that I thought was steep. I would have given them a second chance, except that when GF ordered a milk tea with whole milk, the writer said they had only no milk. It wasn't? Is there a non-Dair replacement okay?? This led me to think they never have milk, but nothing said that everywhere. There were simply too many points of failure, the experience of being an off-day
This was our first time trying out Oros restaurant. Oros has a variety on their menu. I ordered the Hot Thai Chicken . You can order your level of hot spice for all your food. We also ordered Yellow Curry Tofu with Ginger Rice , Green (pandan) Waffle and the Pinky Signature Drink. Everything was very delicious and the Thai Chicken was the perfect amount of spiciness. The veggies are so fresh and tasty. They make the food very nice and presentable. There Staff has great customer service and cleanliness is 5 Star rating. The packaging is very sturdy and does well for travel. You can eat there for take home. We definitely will be back to try other items on their menu.
