The ramen was decent but was completely ruined by the overpowering black garlic oil. The strong smell and taste of it permeated the entire restaurant, making it hard to enjoy the meal. I couldn't even finish the ramen because of it. On the bright side, the karaage was good and the service was great.
I may be at fault, but our experience here was not enjoyable. In short, the ramen had a strong and overpowering pork smell and a thick pork flavor. This may be intentional for Porco enthusiasts, but my wife and I did not find the flavors to be to our liking. Additionally, the noodles were undercooked.
They haven't fait me yet!My usual is the Porco Ramen with corn
My favorite ramen restaurant. My favorite is their truffle ramen and there's no other place that does it like them! The broth is rich and creamy yet light. I like woodear a lot in general and am glad they are generous with it and the green onions. The soft boiled egg is deliciously creamy. Some bamboo for more texture. The noodles steeped in broth. The pork is very thinly sliced, nice for drinking more of the delicious broth. Calamari with the yuzu mayo and lemon mmm sprinkle some togarashi on top and that's one of my favorite appetizers in general and at Porco Ramen it doesn't disappoint either. I've been here a couple times with some of my favorite people, and I've made some good memories here. I hope to come back for more. The truffle ramen is just so good that I haven't ordered any other ramen yet hahaha. Nice speedy attentive service and delicious food, just don't be fooled by the tinted windows, check hours, they are open haha. If it's your first time and you enjoy truffle, definitely get the truffle ramen!
