Taqueria Lorena's - San Jose

Flavor is great, prices are reasonable. The carnitas were a bit dry, and I don't mean crunchy. Great customer service.

I moved from San Jose 14 years ago (I'm back) but the only place I would eat when I came back for visits is Lorena's Ive been their customer since it was a taco truck on the east side and thru the years as they progressed from truck to hut to two restaurants. And as sad as it is to know the original Burt many years ago its good to know the flavor did not and Lorena's will continue to be the only burrito spot I go to... Others have tried to get me to switch but no matter what it never compares to Lorena's

The food here is really really good the staff is very friendly and polite the food is fresh and made to order if you're in the neighborhood and you want some really good Mexican food definitely stop by

Great little taqueria off 13th. Tacos are loaded, the San Diego nachos are huge, and everything tastes great. Lengua tacos are my favorite thing here, super tender. The Al pastor is also solid. Good aguas frescas as well. Prices are very good for the quality and quantity. It can be tough to park in this area but they have a little lot off the adjacent side street.

The carne asada mini tacos and fries were so so delicious!!
