The bartender checked with a server and said we’d be attended to soon. Five minutes later, the server appeared but told us they weren’t taking any more tables outside as it was getting busy. So we decided to go inside. A few minutes later, the same server checked on the table next to us but completely ignored us. Frustrated, we left and chose another place instead. I might return, but it's unlikely. **Edit:** I ended up getting seated and served in about ten minutes at San Jose Joe's. I'm currently enjoying my sausages and eggs!
The food was just okay, and the service was slow and inattentive. I can tolerate mediocre food, but it wasn't even busy, and I had a hard time getting the server's attention to settle the bill. When he finally came back, he took a long time and then asked, "So what did you have?" Not exactly a promising sign. It took 12 minutes to finalize the bill, and as I mentioned, the place wasn't crowded at all. This level of service is unacceptable for an airport restaurant where time is often limited.
I can't comment on the food because I wasn't able to get in. I waited for 10 minutes at the entrance, but it seemed like I didn't exist to the waiter. He walked around without acknowledging me at all—no information about the wait time, or even a simple hello.
Split a breakfast burrito and it was tasty and filling. Staff was nice and price was good. A great place to get a bite or have a drink. They have a really good breakfast too. Looking for a Guinness or some Jameson? Full bar and lots of beer. Whenever wehead out of town for fun, we always hit the Brit and get some delicious grub and something to wet our whistle. The Brit is anawesome place for both. I would recommend you stop in and experience this great spot. In the terminal of course. Enjoy andcheers mate!
I waited outside for about 20 minutes, but no one came to assist me, so I went inside to ask the bartender if they offered outdoor seating. The bartender asked a server, who said they would check, but after five minutes, the server came back and explained that they couldn’t accommodate outdoor tables because he was busy. We decided to leave and went to another place instead. It seemed like we weren't really acknowledged. However, I did have a much better experience at San Jose Joe's, where I was seated and served in about ten minutes. Now I'm enjoying my sausages and eggs!
