The Sourdough Eatery - San Jose

The line is typically quite long at this restaurant, but since I arrived early, I only had to wait a short time. After checking out the garden area and tasting the food, I can understand why it tends to be so popular. Dogs are welcome, and there are friendly cats roaming around the garden, happily allowing you to pet them.

Absolutely adore this restaurant! It's a hidden gem in the South Bay. The food is outstanding, and the artwork—created by the owner—adds a wonderful atmosphere to the place.

This is the absolute best sandwich I've ever eaten. I've been visiting this place for nearly 29 years, and it truly is one of a kind. Grab a sandwich, find a seat in the back, and take in the art. It's a fantastic sandwich shop—definitely the best in the Bay Area by far.

Quaint and quirky little lovely sandwich shop. Their sourdough is fresh, backed on site. They have a large selection of meat cuts and sandwich styles. And, conveniently for « hangry » jurors, just a few steps from the Santa Clara Hall of Justice.
