True Brew San Jose

I was very disappointed! I saw a fantastic menu, but when we arrived, the chef wasn't even there, and the service was terrible. There were hardly any servers around. We had gone there with the hope of trying it out, but the menu had changed.

The atmosphere here is fantastic! While it’s not a brewery, they offer an impressive selection of drinks. Drew was amazing—very knowledgeable and a wonderful host. This is definitely a place you should visit to gather information and unwind. They have a wide variety of beers from different breweries, as well as a full bar.

Wow! This place has gone downhill! The chicken sandwich used to be one of the best in San Jose! Now, you get Mechanically reclaimed, pre breaded and formed chicken strips. Gross! The truffle fries were limp and under cooked! How can you mess up a pre cut fry! This place is a trap for sharks fans, don't be tempted. If you are looking for the menu that was here don't bother. It's a waste of time and money. Beer is okay wife made me be nice.

True Brew is a good little place to catch a game with friends and beers while getting a bite. There were 20 beers on tap, had the “Citra is my Wife” Hazy IPA from Narrative and was excellent. Food menu is a bit short but bery tasty, had the chicken sandwich and it was very juicy and some trufle fries ??. Overall great place and service with a lot of screens to catch sports.P.S. shoutout to the hot sauce “Hoppin Hot Sauce”, local from San Leandro, excellent addition to the chicken sandwich
