I went at noon for the noon executive menu option and was good. Great meat seasoning and I loved the Flan de la Abuela dessert
Classic style bodega with fantastic live music and style. the guests are invited to sign the walls (if they can find a place, the 4* was mostly for the environment. it was ok, but not up to what I expected (kuban extended family and a love of Cuban brote and sandwiches). the wild boar was excellent, but in my experience the sandwiches in the regular bigger and grilled longer are with more senf, less mayonnaise, if at all. the sandwich contains pickel, which are usually heated after the procedure. still a good stop for the environment they are not directly Cuban food on this experience. there were some surprises. an evening meal had no supplement, and the marienkäfer (fresh plantain chips) were not as sharp or salty as I would expect. it is possible that they were hurried, though or understated, as the place was packed. the service was a little slow, but again it was overcrowded.
Great Cuban experience in san jose. I traveled to Cuba and this place is the most authentic Cuban place in costa rica! you should try yuca mojada, yuca frita, congris (moros y cristianos), crocetas con pollo, ropa vieja.
Had a great lunch here, the ropa vieja with a side of plantations. the mojitos are always good. I wish they had a humidor with cigars, although the staff was all fantastic.
