Lupulus Beer Shop - San Jose

We arrived around 8p. Place was already buzzing with people, yet had no problem getting a table. We stopped and asked to see the menu before deciding to dine here. Host was kind and attentive. We ended up having 2 waiters, Oscar and a female who I can’t remember her name. Both were amazing! Food was excellent! Found my new favorite beer. Atmosphere was perfect. Not too loud, not too quite. Highly recommend!

This place is in barrio escalante. Very cozy place. The menu is big. The food is delicious. Service was unattractive for the most part but was ok. I ordered the burger. It was delicious cooked to order. The potato wedges are to die for. They ask you what mayo you want with your fries and you can choose. I picked chipotle mayo. Delish. My friend ordered that taco platter. It comes with one of each of the tacos they have on the menu. I tried 2 of them and they were good. We couldn't finish all the food. Highly recommend, especially the burger but not the tacos

Delicious hamburgers, best we've had in Costa Rica. Unique combinations of flavors, my burger had walnuts! Also sweet potato fries were legit.

Good selection of Tico beers with good service. The mushroom crockets we're spectacular and excellent cheesecake. Didn't have a burger but it looked amazing. The ceviche was ok; not bad just not great.

The beer selection was not as great as I was expecting, but the place is very nice, staff is friendly and food is good
