Area felt safe. The beds were extremely comfortable and I appreciated the curtains to close the beds in. However, there were several roaches in and around the beds. There were only 2 bathrooms (one was out of order and 1 shower for the whole section of my hostel. There was never any toilet paper and even when I asked they just told me to go to the basement bathrooms. The bathrooms were dirty. Staff wasn’t the friendliest (all hostels are like this and I don’t know why? . There were a lot of children staying as well. (Which is fine- just an observation as I prefer adult hostels . Also the kitchen area was vey small for the amount of people there. And the coffee that was provided in the morning tasted like sewage water. Overall it was fine and I would stay again but there probably are better.

Stayed at this place on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say that it was a great value. I only stayed here for one night before my flight out, but I met some cool people that were also just starting or ending their trips. The atmosphere was a little weird at first with a lot of people sitting around on their phones, but once a conversation or two started, others joined in.

The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and local attractions. The hostel itself was clean and cozy, offering comfortable beds and a great atmosphere to meet fellow travelers. There is a pool area in the middle with a kitchen and a bar. I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and welcoming place to stay in San Jose.

It's in a good location and really large space with bar and pool. The staff are friendly and helpful, there are plenty of bathrooms and showers. The beds are comfy and clean. The only issue are that the rooms don't keep out the noise from the bars and train that passes through.

We only stayed for one night but it was very peaceful and in a good central location fun and useful amenities. The kitchen has everything you could need and the outdoor are and bar was so pretty. Only thing was that the bathrooms were shared and downstairs
