Hola Maria - San José del Cabo

Located on one level below the Mega Store in San Jose de Cabo you can get wonderful authentic Mexican food .... tacos, tortas ... with interesting combinations and at great prices!!!! Plus one level up you can enjoy a great view of the bay!!

There are only three tacos you can choose from. The taco portion is small, comparing to others we tried. The flavor is good. We also tried Chinese restaurant Upstair and much better.

Best cochinita (pork meat), tacos and tortas (sandwiches) in town well located good prices you won't regret!

Really tasty. If you go to the Mega (they are on the lower level), try them. Not much of a menu, but good for lunch.

We stopped by Hola Maria and were greeted with a friendly "hola, buenas tardes". The restaurant is on the lower level of Mega and has around seven tables inside with more seating outside. They serve three different tacos on corn tortillas, tortas with a couple dessert choices. They gave us samples to help us decide what to order which I'm guessing was due to our less than stellar communication skills in Spanish. Our order arrived in less than five minutes and on the table was a bowl of pickled sweet onions and a very spicy sauce for toppings. Generous filling portions of chicken, pork or a combination of both. Very tasty for the equivalent of $1.47/taco!!Great value, service and yummy!
