Tacos El Ahorcado (The Hangman)

This was our first meal out during our stay, and the first one we would want to repeat again and again. The staff is nice, the atmosphere is wonderful and the tacos were outstanding. Very reasonable pricing too. Our fav. place all week

Very eclectic place with fantastic food at a reasonable price. The help is equally fantastic. When you see Nationals there, you know it's the real thing.

This place has been here a long time and we have come here many times when in San Jose. Lots of variety of tacos and very good quality. They are beer and plenty of drinks including their homemade fruit and traditional waters, this time we had fresa and tamarindo. We had an assortment but some of our favorites include beef tongue, cochinita pibil, costilla, arrachera, squash flowers and corn fungus. One of my favorite taco joints in southern baja. I would definitely recommend.

One of my fave restaurantes in San Jose. Quirky decor, excellent tacos and cold beer,,, what more could a ex pat want?!?! I'm a regular for life
