Feedback gevenThe restaurant accepts reservations through the OpenTable app, but they do not honor them. I made a reservation for Mother's Day brunch, and when I arrived, the restaurant was closed. A staff member informed me that they were not operating that day.
We have made a reservation through open table and I received a confirmation of the reservation. when we arrived, the doorman told us we had no reservation, but we should talk to someone. we went to the restaurant and were told again, we had no reservation. I showed them my open table confirmation and was told that they “not on open table.” we were told to sit on a sofa and finally a folding table was thrown up before us. we asked if we could have chairs because sitting on the sofa that was table on the kinn plane. we were brought two chairs. we asked if we could all have chairs and said we could, then the staff went away and let us stand in the middle of the room. there was an open four top, so we sat there, and then it was said that was reserved for someone else. we asked if we could see a menu and we were asked to scan a QR code. No one in the party had cell service so we couldn't scan the code and the personal said there were no menus. we decided that we were unwilling, so we went. I tried to call one, but had no cell service. I asked the employees if they were wifi that I could use to call one over, and was told that there was no guest Wifi. I asked the doorman if he could call us a taxi. he made what seemed to be a make-believe phone call, told us there were no taxis in the opposite, but we could stand at the corner to find a taxi. it was a humiliating experience for all in our party (2 adult, 2 teenagers.) I can not comment on that as we were asked to go before we could order. we spent about $40 between the taxi and the taxi only to turn away.
Do not book through open table! When we got there, we were told they don't accept open table reservations and that they were already fully booked so we would not be able to eat there. Ended up having to go back to the hotel and get room service as everywhere nearby was already booked at that point. Restaurant should be removed from open table.
We were seated almost immediately, but once inside, we noticed several open tables, which made us feel like we were being taken advantage of simply because we were not locals. On a positive note, at the end of the night, the restaurant helped us arrange a ride home, which was extremely helpful considering the high demand for rides at that hour. Moving forward, I would recommend calling the restaurant directly to confirm any reservations.
We had an awful experience. We made a reservation for a larger group on our visit to PR just to be turned away at the door and told that they don’t honor their open table reservations. It was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. Seven girls stranded in the middle of downtown with nowhere to go for dinner. You should remove yourself from open table immediately.
