This restaurant is a fantastic spot for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine. I apologize for not having any pictures of the food, but the prices here are unbeatable. I tried the bistec ecebollado (steak sautéed in onions) and it was better than any other version I have had before. The mofongo was also delicious, especially when immersed in the broth. The masitas de dorado were fresh and perfectly fried in bite-sized pieces. The sweet plantains were cooked just the way I like them - soft, sweet, and slightly caramelized. Our bill came out to be $11.50 each and we left feeling completely satisfied as the portions were generous. It was a great value at $50 for two people. Our waitress, Sonya, provided excellent service.
This restaurant serves delicious Puerto Rican food. Their alcapurrias are the best! All dishes are made to order, perfect for those who love fried foods. You can enjoy an ice-cold Medalla beer while waiting for your meal. It's best to avoid going there early in the afternoon, as parking can be a challenge. Overall, highly recommended.
The food was amazing and the ambiente felt secret. the service was also top notch.
The fried chicken bites were really delicious. I wish they offered yellow rice, but the white rice and beans were enjoyable. I liked the outdoor seating and had a great time on Friday night watching the street dancing.
