Arrived to Lima and had dinner at Los Bachiche on the first night as my friend told me to slowly get used to the Peruvian kitchen and not directly eat a Ceviche on the first day, so we did. It was a nice evening with good food wine. Service was very friendly and fast.
Great experience, good atmosphere, excellent attention great food, we took our own wines and where provided with decanters. Great entrees to taste. I ate “canilla de cordero” just look at the pictures, was awesome. Totally recomended while you visit Lima
Excellent service, presentation and cuisine in this, one of my favourite restaurants in Lima. It is consistently good, time after time and their staff pays attention to details and makes you feel like a treasured guest. From the entradas to the main plate to dessert, everything was extremely well done. I will continue to bring my out of town friends here.
This should be a laid back, cozy Italian restaurant. Unpretentious food could still be delicious! Unfortunately not the case here. We ordered a trout carpaccio, piadina and 3 types of pasta. Neither of them was any good. The shrimp and artichoke pasta was particularly underwhelming. Shrimp tasted frozen and underseasoned... WAY overcooked...actually Costco frozen shrimp tastes much fresher. The texture of the pasta wasn’t bad, but flavors were very off. Lima has one of the best seafood in America, but Los Bachiche is not worth to be in this town. If you want to have a Bachiche experience... just go to any local supermarket and pick any food randomly, fresh or frozen. You may get luckier
