The Art Warehouse - San Juan del Sur

The reviews were so great but this was not what we experienced. The Warehouse Granola was expensive, tasteless at for a whole bowl two tablespoons of yoghurt. The staff wouldn’t give us more when we asked. Nice location but that’s it.

I sat down at a table that was occupied by 1 person as there were no other tables. No-one came up to me so I went to the till. They advised they would come to the table. The waiter was so slow. He didn't clean up the tables, was giving other clients food. I asked if I could order, he told me that he'd come back, then then went to another table where a man say down after me to take his order. When he did come to me, he apologized and said that he was really busy. I mentioned that he went to take someone else's order when I arrived first. I arrived at 1210. At 1315, asked where my food was as I had an appointment at 1330. They asked me if I wanted it takeaway. I advised that if it doesn't come, I'll have to cancel. The food came within a couple of minutes. So, all in all it took 1 hour to order and get my food. Like the place, the menu but service is terribly slow

Ordered Aztec soup (no mention of the chilli in the ingredients) but it was far too spicy for me to eat. It would have killed me to try! In the hospitality business if the customer does not touch the food, the restaurant should apologize and take it off the bill. No argument. No hesitation. It’s not worth the argument... loosing a customer over…or getting a bad review. Also the wi-fi stopped working after an hour. Will not return.

Lunch was yummy. The drinks were made from scratch and super delicious. I was hoping for a little bigger variety of art on the walls as my husband and I like to buy something from local artist wherever we travel. They are doing great things for the community so it's worth your support.
