Feedback gevenWe have booked mayachik because they have advertised a vegan menu, but when we arrived and were asked for their vegan menu, we were told that they have no, so we have ordered the two items on their vegetarian menu that could be made vegan; the pasta with tomato sauce, and the cured vegetables with rice. both were very large portions that we could share but quite average in taste. the ground is beautiful, and there are three beautiful dogs, and cats on the ground, but do not expect incredible vegan cuisine. they also have a cake buffet every Sunday. how incredible if it were vegan!
The garden is quiet and away from the loud and lively streets of San Juan or even worse San Pedro. They have Guatemalan classics like Popian in a vegan version. Food is absolutely beautiful and amazingly fresh, especially Popian said. Some of the best food we had in Guatemala! The chili is very good, but not what I expected. More like a lens stuff. The staff is very helpful and can also organize shuttles, excursions... or accommodation in the connected eco-hotel (that is not as quiet as the restaurant as for any reason all dogs in the area bark all night). Nice food made with great ingredients (had to get a bayonet from my plate). Was twice in 12h and would probably have gone back if it wasn't for me in the city less than 24h. I love vegan options here in Guate.
Eco Hotel with veggie resteraunt, which offers a dedicated vegan section on the menu that offers local and international dishes. We had the curry and the pepian, both were beautiful. They have their own gardens, of which they harvest a lot of ingrediance, everything is cooked by scratches and is full of taste 2 meals cooked by scratches for about €11 with fresh ingrediants ant sue
A small walk outside the city, Mayachik offers wonderful veg food in a relaxed, comfortable environment. The menu has a dedicated vegan section, although many vegetarian foods are able to also be made vegan. The lens soup was particularly delicious :
