Maejoo - San Leandro

Kind of sad to see this place closed down and got replaced by Mochinut. Food was good, but they were cash only. I made the mistake of only bringing card, which was more trouble for them. It was good while it lasted.

Great location for good food. I love their Japchae noodles with beef and added seafood , this is my second time at this location within a week and I truly enjoy

The wings were a strange kind of crispy. Like they were triple battered and double fried. Too much batter. They were crispy don't get me wrong, but just not a classic chicken wing style. The flavors were not that good. I had lava lime and sweet chili.

Thank god for Maejoo Wings! It 's so hard to find a quality wing spot these days but I 've ordered from here 3 times and I 'm hooked. They offer wing flavors that tons of personality . I 've ordered the sweet chili, lemon pepper dust, and parmesean furikake dust. The wings are pretty big, always well seasoned/flavored, and moist on the inside. Also, the Maejooslaw is . It 's a very flavorful kale salad with a little kick. It 's so good, that my wife and I each get our own separate order or Maejooslaw b/c we don 't want to share, lol

I really enjoyed the wings, spicy chili and honey soy. I liked the spicy chili wings better because they had more flavor. I also ordered the beef brisket ramen which had just enough spice to delight the senses. : I will come back and try some other dishes!
