El Rey De Copas

Nice place to eat cheap and fast, really normal, I 'll not say go there so if you are in El Escorial and need some food, search for other place.

We were hungry and came upon this restaurant, so we decide to give it a go. We ordered a sangria and we got two glasses instead of the jug with sangria. The food quality was average and portions small. A lot of the restaurant everywhere about the same, so you have to watch the menu and take the risk that it is a good one.

Stopped here for lunch after seeing the amazing and huge monastery. Decided on El Rey de Copas because it is much much cheaper than the cafes and bars nearer to the monastery. Seriously cheap. Great selection of beers and wines, and there's pizzas, pasta, sandwiches and tapas to graze on. Nice little bar inside, but the best bit is sitting outside in the sun, enjoying a beer.

Atención muy buena y rápida. No cierran cocina y se puede comer hasta tarde.

Ha estado bien en general, rapidos, atentos, buena comida, pero ojo con la cerceza. Tienen varios surtidores, yo personalmente le pedi maestra de barril, pero creo que en ese surtidor tenia pinchada una IPA
