Best Guinness in the county, at an appropriate price. Fresh and not too cold. Clean bathroom and lovely open-air courtyard out back. Great surprise here.

The Verde Mac n Cheese was amazing and the loaded tots put it over the top. Great service

We go to The Black Sheep and eat on the patio every single time we're in town visiting our college kid. Great service. Delicious food. Dog-friendly. Best of all--totally low key.

Visited: 13/06/2023 Fab little pub in San Luis Obispo, excellent beers on tap, good food, and sports on the TV (if you like that). Really friendly staff and a nice atmosphere of belonging. Had some vegetarian options which was great. One of us had the veggie wrap and fries, whilst the other enjoyed a delicious beef burger with applewood cheese, bacon and fries. Both were delicious and really enjoyable with a beer to wash it down with. Fabulous pub. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options at this pub.
