Oki Kohi Espresso - San Luis Obispo

Best espresso around, strong but smooth.Japanese curry tastes great and is filling.

I was so bummed to discover that Okimomo closed. Happily, Oki Kohi opened just across the parking lot. Some of the same menu items but not everything. I was able to get my fix of KFC wings. Also addition of new items like some dim sum coffee drinks.

This is a quirky little place that combines a small grocery, coffee and an eclectic menu. What gets it 5 stars from me is the amazing Peruvian Stew! A great mix of chicken, potatoes, carrots and peas in a sauce infused with a cilantro sauce. Tastes like home cooking you could have in the Peruvian highlands. Nothing quite like it in SLO and reasonably priced, to boot.

Delicious food and the staff is very friendly. It’s always clean and a nice place to study. Lots of low cost options for a quick snack. I also had the chai and it was perfect, not too sweet.Parking: 10 open spotsDietary restrictions: Gluten free
