First off I was thrown off by the pictures and heads of deer all over the walls. In addition there was fake grass strewn around. I...don't get the concept or the vibe. It's San Felipe for God's sake! A deer/hunting theme?! Odd... Anyways the food was mediocre. The American items were way overpriced I'm talking to USD for pasta or USD for Caesar salad? My fiance and I stuck to the seafood plates since it is a beach town. He had fish tacos with rice and beans and I had shrimp tacos with rice and beans to an order). He enjoyed his tacos but my shrimp tacos had this weird soggy tempura batter on them and weren't crispy or seasoned ant all. I do have to say the shrimp was cooked well an tend extremely large. All in all if you're looking for a clean, air conditioned restaurant with American dishes like hamburgers, pasta and salad on the menu then here is your place.
Stopped in for lunch. Definitely overpriced compared to the rest of town... You will have to see for yourself....
This new restaurant is a major addition to San Felipe dining. The chef is from a major city on the mainland, and highly experienced in gourmet cuisine. SF has some surprisingly nice dining options, but this is my new The interior is new, somewhat...spartan, but with a beautiful rock-faced water wall. There's nothing else like it in town. It's located on a side street next to a nondescript retail store, and thus is easy to miss. Don't. If you are on the main drag heading toward the Malecon, you will see it on the left, on the second street before the bay. If you are on the Malecon, turn left at the onto the main street, walk two blocks on the right side of the road, and turn right after the market/liquor store (Licores Rivera It's slightly pricey for SF, but cheap compared to anywhere in the States.
