Feedback gevenMarengo has an attractive entrance (with valet parking) and a modern interior with appealing lighting. Staff were very helpful, in spite of our poor Spanish, trying to understand and accommodate our wishes. The menu is heavy on meat dishes, has many seafood options, but here and there are several vegetarian options, especially if one orders small plates, tapas style. The cauliflower appetizer was the entire head, cooked through but spiced expertly, with cloves of garlic hidden between the florets. Ceviche was tasty. Salsas were delicious. One fish taco choice was a bit too marine for us. We had a nice Spanish albarino and a lovely red blend from Baja California Norte. All-in-all, we recommend it.
The attention and the food was ok but tortilla espanola somehow salty but not big deal. Parking guy did not show any intention to give exchange back after paying with a high denomination bill and when asked about that, in rude manner replied he needed to retain an amount as a forceful tip and repeatedly asked "how much will I hold as a tip". Really disappointing his lack of respect for customers.
Enjoyed very much. Cheese tray was great. Steak tartare was excellentBone in ribeye was excellent. Service was top notch. We had a group of 6 people. Always 3 servers to make sure we were taken care of. Most had steak, 1 had osso bucco. All were raving about the food. The tequila was great also.
Very nice place to share with friends, it has three different stages, inside, terraza and garden. It also offers a special table besides a good looking cava for special ocassions.It can be an excellent options for groups of friends, businness or couples, I attend with my family and they dont have chairs for kids so my boy was hangin around all over the place.Service is good, probably a little bit excessive in ocassions, Beverages were good and food too. some classics as Vacio or tottally new roasted octopus.Nice place must visit, I will come back many times if they maintain quality of food and service.
One of the best reataurants in town. Benjamin the chef created a spetial menu for us. The Salmon grilled over a cedar peace of wood was astoning! We also tryed the lamb leg which I enjoied a lot. Excelent place, excelent service and a spetial mention for the chef!!Don't miss it
