Cats Billiards - San Marcos

This is an eclectic place. The staff is great. Pay attention to college kids who are here often what is just an amazing standup thing to do. We actually had an explosion playing all kinds of pool games my sons and friends came with. I was a game. Funtime!

Like the drinks and the many billiard tables are perfect, especially the two fronts that are free.

To be honest, this bar is Greek and I love it. It really has to feel a small town, but it is right next to the square. You have no reference to yours in San Marcos when you are here. The drinks were super cheap and the bartender was there!

Cats Billiards is a great place to play pool and have a drink with friends. Sunday they had drink specials all day.

If you like dive bars, this is one you should visit. Yes the ceiling is almost falling down and it does leak when it rains... but it's all about the atmosphere and big tables (which have been recently slated and felted). You and a friend can go hang out here for a few hours and only spend like $15 a person. It's hard to find places these days that don't gouge you on drinks and table time
