As someone who is gluten intolerant, I was pleasantly surprised by their Chocolate Ganache Cheesecake. It was truly amazing - not too sweet, with a delicious crust that was worth it on its own. This cheesecake was unlike anything I've had before, and no one would ever guess it was gluten free. I will definitely be returning to try more of their tasty offerings. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere of the place was lovely. If you haven't been yet, I highly recommend trying their truffles as well.
My friend and I decided to take a chocolate class while visiting the area on holiday. Conveniently located near the resort we were staying at. Literally a two-minute walk. The class was super fun and we made lots of treats to take back with us, along with a few of their delicious truffles from the shop. We came back again before leaving for dessert and had a hard time choosing from all the beautiful options. I went with the opera cake that was gluten-free and AMAZING! Charming shop with super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and conveniently located. Highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area.
Our Girl Scout troop attended one of their classes and walked away raving about not only the chocolate, but the experience and how fun the owner made everything for them. Our girls were 7-10yo and had the absolute best time. Highly recommend!
My family and I have had the pleasure of booking two different tea parties at this super lovely shop when we were visiting in the area. The Tea and pastries were so delicious, the service was so friendly and attentive to our needs, our tea pots were always kept hot, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Ive have been to a proper tea in London, and this was as nice or better The Chef Dayleen was very gracious and delightful. P.S. you must try, their Dark chocolate caramel. It was and is my favorite. I recently visited a chocolate shop in North San Diego County for a girls' day out. The storefront was charming and I adored the purple color scheme. We were impressed by the desserts in the display case, although the truffles were small. I wish we had skipped the tea and just purchased some desserts because the overall experience was disappointing. The scones were dry, the other offerings were mediocre, and the portions were small, especially when compared to other places in San Diego like Shakespeare on India Street and Coral Tree Tea House in Old Town. The tea came in prepackaged sachets instead of loose-leaf, which was surprising given the price point, and our server did not refill our drinks.
