Saltgrass Steak House - San Marcos

Celebrated my 10th anniversary here. My wife and I enjoyed wonderfully seasoned and cooked steaks jumping on them with the Cajun. The staff was great, the food was excellent, the wait was not too long. Everything was great. Definitely will return

We made a reservation and were immediately seated. A big thank you to everyone who worked on Christmas Day! The food and service were fantastic. I enjoyed the 6oz sirloin with shrimp and mac and cheese, and I topped it off with a grilled pineapple margarita.

The service is exemplary here. Our waiter came around 8 times and the manager came to clear records twice and check us out. We never had to ask for anything. Our party had the Maudeen's Filet, Gulf Coast Steak and Shrimp and the Chicken Laredo. We all have blank plates. The food was excellent. Definitely back.

The service was excellent, and I arrived just in time to enjoy the lunch specials. I ordered the steak and roasted shrimp, both of which were cooked to perfection.

Pickles and peppers for appetizer was great. Hubby got cajun ribeye and I the urban cowboy medium rare and they were cooked perfectly. Tortilla soup needed lime and doesn't come with so ask for it if you like it that way. House salad, baked potato and Brussels were all great. Brussels had a bit of sweetness but I like them thar way.
