Restaurante Bar & Grill Meztli

Loved the Tortilla soup, House Margarita and the adventurous pre-Hispanic plate! Clean, friendly, for our big family with children. We feel like family! Great menu options for every taste. Our four-year-old loved fish, rice and beans. Our teenagers have swallowed their shrimp pasta plates. The lemonades were so beautiful and the perfect amount sweet. Although we were traveling with our package of five children, I and my spouse pampered with a great conversation about herbs, cooking, language, travel. Delightful group of people work together there!

Friendly family running...Great Food, great people. No buses.... very helpful and knowledgeable about everything in the area.

The people we know in Mexico City warned us about the restaurants around the pyramids - they said that many buffet lines with recycled food and best mediocre foods, such as buses and van Lasten from tourists. Our guide brought us to Meztli Grill, and we were so glad he did. There were a few cars, no buses. A casual place with indoor and outdoor table, led by a young couple- he waits tables, she cooks- the food was unique and very well made. From the menu there is often a pig dog in Adobo, which our friend, a very good cook, announced the best he had. Ask if they have it. We really recommend this place - great food, no touring buses, a personable couple (he worked for years in a restaurant in San Francisco before returning to his house in the area)

This place was outstanding and was highly recommended by our guide. Food and services where fantastic, we ordered a variety of food and drink and we were surprised on how good and fresh everything tasted. If you are near this place it is very worth it. Saludos!

Given the fairly remote if highly touristed area, this place is really good. Service was superb, the drinks well made and the food was top notch. Fish Veracruz, margaritas,steak all good. Slightly pricey, but well worth the stop.
